Relatives helps you build a list of your relatives and view it as a family tree. Available for iPhone and Android.

I usually reply within 1–2 business days. Including your database number (shown at the bottom of the "More…" screen) helps me answer faster.
Enter your name and date of birth. If a relative has already added you to their database, the app finds it and connects you. If not, it offers to create a new database for you.
No. All data is stored on the server. Sign in on the new phone with the same name and date of birth and everything will be there.
Open that person's page and tap the pencil icon to the right of the photo. You can change the first name, last name and date of birth there.
Merging happens automatically: when the same person (same name and date of birth) appears in two databases, the app links them and joins the two trees.
The subscription is handled by Apple, so it is cancelled in your phone settings:
Settings → your name at the top → Subscriptions → Relatives → Cancel Subscription.
Cancelling during the free trial means you are not charged. After cancelling, the app keeps working until the paid period ends.
Apple takes the payment, so Apple also handles refunds: go to reportaproblem.apple.com and submit a request.
If the database is yours (you created it): More… → Delete my database. The button is shown only to the owner, and works only if no other relative has joined the database and it has not been merged with another one — otherwise other people's data would be destroyed along with yours.
If those conditions are not met, or the button is not shown, email akhanzh@gmail.com with your database number.
That entry is part of your relative's own family tree. Removing you also changes other people's records: your spouse would be left without a spouse, your children without a father (or mother). So the person who built the tree should be the one to make that decision.
Tap "⋯" next to the message and choose Report or Block this user. The report comes to me, and messages from a blocked user are hidden from you. Blocked users are listed under "More… → Blocked users".
